Reflexology
An ancient healing art practiced for centuries in China, Egypt and India as well as by individuals who view the body as a self-curing mechanism when given the right environment and stimuli. Reflexology works on the theory that the body and its organs are reflected on the feet and hands through a system of reflexes. Stimulating specific points encourages positive changes, thus facilitating the body’s healing potential.

Bhakti Massage
60 minutes:  $75 spa member / $85 hotel guest / $95 day guest
Described as “deceptively deep,” this specialized form of relaxation massage uses long, deliberate strokes from head to toe to apply a slow but constant deep-flowing pressure. This technique induces intense relaxation by drawing out deep-seated tension.

Reiki
30 minutes:  $40 spa member / $45 hotel guest / $50 day guest
60 minutes:  $70 spa member / $75 hotel guest / $80 day guest

A holistic healing modality, reiki channels universal energy to stimulate positive energy flow within an individual and facilitate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. Reiki has been shown to enhance medical treatments, speed recovery and control anxiety. It is believed by many to be the healing modality used by the great ancient healers including Jesus and the Buddha.  Note of clarification: Reiki is not a form of massage. Commonly known as energy work, it is performed by a reiki practitioner over clothing and without making physical contact with the body.

Craniosacral Therapy
60 minutes:  $75 spa member / $85 hotel guest / $95 day guest
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of relieving pain, discomfort and malfunctions of the body and central nervous system. The method makes use of the special attributes of the craniosacral system, which includes the skull, spine and sacrum and the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid within these structures. Craniosacral therapy is performed on a fully clothed person. Using a light touch, the therapist monitors the rhythm of the craniosacral system to detect potential restrictions and imbalances. The therapist then uses delicate manual techniques to release those problem areas and relieve undue stress on affected parts. The result is a central nervous system free of restrictions and a body that’s able to return to its optimum level of performance.
